Digital Audio Basics Course
Quickly get Started with Sound Design by learning the Basics of Audio
In this 20 minute course, we go over the basics of working with audio on computer, and even start going over some of the core tools in Audacity, which is a free DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
If you're an absolute beginner, I recommend taking this course before any of the other courses on blipsounds. We will go over the basics of what you'll find in almost all DAW's so you can familiarize yourself with editing audio. Then we will move over to Audacity and go over the basic tools, including the cut tool, move tool, and fading. Then we will will talk about frequency and audio dynamics so you can begin to familiarize yourself with some more advanced topics without overwhelming yourself.
I hope this course helps you. I have open support in the comments section on each video for you to ask any questions you might have. I hope to see you there!
